I was born and raised in Utah and I plan on living here the rest of my life. It has such a variety of scenery that you cannot get anywhere else on Earth. I live in a small town in Southern Utah that most people have never heard of, population 1,000 (in the whole county). I can go two hours in any direction and be in the most unbelievable places, from high mountains, to Deseret, or even in the big city. I absolutely love the outdoors, but only in the spring, summer, and fall. I do not really care for the winters; however it is a great time for me to get caught up on different projects that I start. It is also my opportunity to focus on school. Right out of High School I thought the world revolved around me and that I could do whatever I wanted and I sure did not need more school. I was going to work a good job in telemarketing until I found my one true love and he would be able to support me while I stayed at home. Little did I know that only five months down the road I would loose my job and be left looking in places I thought I would never have to work. I ended up in a gas station. I did end up finding my one true love; however things did not work out exactly like I had planned. My husband was not making enough to raise a family so he decided to go back to college. We set out for a long journey through school, after multiple moves and me being the sole provider of income, my husband graduated as a Recreational Therapist. Our next journey took us to this small town that we now live in. When things did not work out with a family I decided that it was my turn to pursue a career. I am working in a residential care facility for troubled teens. I really enjoy working with the teens and have decided that I want to make a career out of it. While trying to do all of this I am trying to get a little extra writing in as it is one of my many hobbies.
