A plot summary is not helpful if that is all you write. I also try never to give VH's to reviews that spoil the product without appropriate warning.
okay, I've finally updated my pic and yes you need a microscope to see it. It's from my birthday last year -- it's me, monkey girl, and Jeff Bates.
Hopefully I won't break the internet by posting my picture on the web.
IMPORTANT:
If I have rated a review of yours with the dreaded SH or NH and you have no clue why I would do such a thing, send me an e-mail (it's listed above).
If I rated it an H remember that's not a bad rating.
If I rated it VH, Congrats -- even before this whole advisor silliness I've been known as a strict but fair rater (I think)
IF THE BULK OF YOUR REVIEW COMES FROM QUOTED SOURCES you won't get a VH from me. I can go to travel sites, auto sites, etc to learn specs, warnings, recalls. I want to know your PERSONAL experience with the product. And not just "Oh I looked at it in the store" "My friend has it and let me drive in it once around the block" "I found this piece of paper in the gutter and it said the following:" etc.
You don't have to own it-- it can be a library book, your grandma's microwave that you have used every Thursday night for the past six months, or the toys in the church nursery.
I don't care how well it's written -- if it's a book epinion that only has a plot summary and nothing else, I will be leaving an SH.
Rants usually get an SH at most...
