Pros: Nice plane, good snacks, efficient service. Cons: None really that I could notice.
I went from Zurich to Amsterdam and back again to Zurich on Cross Air in June 2002. My actual origin was New Delhi and from here to Zurich I was on Swiss International Airline and the same is true for the return journey. I had done my reservations with...
Pros: Europe's Cathay! Cons: Basle-London should be 20 hours!
If you have to travel within Europe and have a choice, pick Crossair!
The smaller sister of Swissair is better organized and much more successful too. For some good reasons I guess!
I have been traveling with Crossair more than 40 times and it...
Pros: Great service, modern fleet, nice staff. Cons: None.
Crossair is not widely known outside its niche market and quite frankly, there are many reasons why it should. This regional airline is owned by Swissair, and while it doesn't enjoy the same international reputation as its parent company, the quality of...
Pros: Friendly crews,on time, good entertainment, good leg room.AA miles. Good coffee.Flexible rules on changes. Cons: Narrow seats, tiny mini deserts, disgusting food/the worst.
This was my first flight on the new Swiss, Y class from Geneva to New York back to Geneva.
Check in, in Geneva was very quick. I did not wait more than 10 minutes. No questions were asked in regards to packing etc. However we did have to take our...
Pros: Service, efficiency... even quaint Cons: Intra-Europe only
What a great airline!
It's the quaint and personalized version of SwissAir.
The only downside is that, of course, it is only for short intra-Europe hops. But if you've got to go from Zurich to anywhere, take CrossAir.
(The only other...
Crossair (together with their big brother Swissair) is the best airline I've ever flown with within Europe. Their planes are always clean and tidy, seats are comfortable, there’s enough room (I’m quite tall, so that’s the first thing I notice) the staff...
Pros: sparkling white wine before take-off! Cons: not real champagne!
crossair seems to be affected by the same disease like swissair. cabin crew is not asked anymore to speak several languages, pilots are likely to go on strike because of very low salaries compare to the industry standards and crossair's new hub policy in...
Pros: Heavenly comfy seating, friendly, supportive service, nice, new planes. Cons: This airline is flawless!
I have flown CROSS AIR once so far.I flew from Krakow to Zurich,on board a RJ-100(Jumbolino).From the beginning the crew was simply wonderful. We had a choice of newspapers. To my pleasant surprise, they even had Polish newspapers.(I'm Polish)This really...
Pros: 1. Tremendous comfort
2. Efficient Cons: Lack of recognition
I have only flown one roundtrip on this airline but have to say that the experience was wonderful. I had flown into Zurich from Newark, with Copenhagen as the final destination.
The SWISS portion (longer one!!) was uncomfortable, full and generally unpleasant. Seat width and pitch were both very tight.
But the Crossair flight was a pleasant welcome. The airline had very comfortable seats and served marvelous snacks during a short 2 hour flight from Zurich to Copenhagen. I was not able to sleep 1 hour on the long 8+ hours transatlantic flight on SWISS but was able to sleep soundly aboard Crossair.
I highly recommend using this service for intra-European travel. I have also experienced intra-Euro travel on British Air and Lufthansa, and have to say that the experience was not too wonderful.
