Kenwood x469 review
by punkindonutguy ,Dec 07 '03
Pros: Great price, Excellent Sound, Easy to Use, Easy to Install, Very Tweakable. Cons: It's almost too good.
I just recently bought the KDC-x469 from a local dealer for $210. I really needed a good replacement for my old Sony X-plod. I did some research and decided on the x469. It has tons of features that would suit almost everyones needs. I was a bit skeptical at first because of the low price. Installation was painless. After about 20 minutes of opening the box I was in business. I popped in a cd and was blown away by how this thing sounds. I spent a little time tweaking the settings and it sounds even better. The signal is super clean. It can be turned up very loud and not distort. All for around $200. I highly recommend this to all my friends or anyone that wants audiophile sound without the price of animated displays or motorized faces.

Pros: RCA OUTPUTS FOR FRONT,REAR AND SUBWOOFER.
SUBWOOFER LEVEL CONTROL. Cons: NONE THIS THING ROCKS BUY ONE TODAY!
I just bought a kenwood deck kdc-x469 and I am so happy with my purchase! I am running a complete kenwood system I have a 1000 watt 2channel amp powering my kenwood 6x9s and a kenwood 250 watt amp powering my 4 and a half inch speakers up front and a kenwood 450 watt mono sub amp powering my 12 inch kenwood sub in a probend bandpass box the deck makes all the differance in the world as it has high pass filter for my front speakers and I can control my subwoofer output right from the deck and it has a remote control go figure ...bottom line my system rocks put it all together for less than a grand and the deck was only 200 bucks ...best thing since sliced bread!

KDC-X469 Receiver
by bikemaster3000 ,Sep 30 '03
Pros: Powerful, clean sound with an easy interface. Cons: None.
I've only had this unit for about a month, but I still marvel at the sound I get out of it. I still run stock speakers (for now), but it still makes a huge difference. It's got an equalizer system that even the most hardcore audiophile should be proud of, but is as easy to use as the volume control. It also comes with several preset settings, but making your own makes a huge difference. It's a 50Wx4 box, with three sets of amp preouts. I didn't install it myself (I have a rare car) so I can't testify to that. Kenwood's advertisement that you won't want to leave your car is about right.
