The "nice" bank
by jl1234 ,Apr 09 '04
Pros: NICE people!! Full range of services, Mutual Bank owned by depositors Cons: Fewer branches
After being forced to move banks too many times to count due to mergers, and always being told "We won't be bought by anyone" about three months before it happened again I was ready for a mutual bank where I could obtain excellent service, reasonable balance requirements, and a place where everyone is nice to me, the customer, for a change. I found it with Middlesex Savings. I have been greeted by name from day one, never have been asked to show an ID in "my" branch since they know me, and they even go out of their way to be extra nice to my children. What more could I ask for! I highly recommend them!
