For several years I've used the channel 3 RF output from my satellite receivers and VCR to send these signals from my A/V cabinet that contains all the equipment to distant rooms through existing coax installed in the walls.

However, There was often interference and the channel 3 RF modulators in the satellite receivers and s-VHS VCR convert audio to mono.

The Channel Plus SVM-22 (2 sets of inputs) and SVM-24 (4 sets of inputs) RF modulator units take your s-video and stereo inputs and outputs a MTS stereo RF signal on a channel of your choice.

I chose channels 70 and 72 which are above the UHF broadcast range and should be free of interference.

The picture and sound quality on my remote televisions is much better that before.

The unit has loop through capability, so all you need is some s-video and stereo audio cables to insert the unit into your system.

There is no display, but channel programming is easy by using front panel buttons. Channel assignment can be read out via a blinking led.

The unit is 17 inches wide by 6.5 inches deep by 1.75 inches high.
