Honeybaked Ham- Your sandwiches visit me in my dreams

by xxskagirlxx Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, Mar 11 '07
Pros: Insanely delicious sandwich menu, unlike anything I've had elsewhere
Cons: Spendy
When most people hear the name Honeybaked Ham, they immediately think of the expensive hams everyone runs out to get for Easter. I know that's what I thought. When Honeybaked Ham opened in Sioux Falls, I was generally unimpressed. Until one ...

Unfortunetly, I haven't had the pleasure of eating at the Honey Baked Ham resturant but I have had a taste of their variety of hams and turkeys. My father received a $50.00 gift certificate from his employer and immediately handed it over to me,...

Pros: Saves you so much time

Quick and Convenient
Cons: Cost a little more but is well worth the price
The Honeybaked Ham Company has been a tradition in my family, for well over fifteen years. There hasn't been an Easter, Thanksgiving, or Christmas that The Honeybaked Ham Company, wasn't invited to. They make the ...

bad delivery, bad customer service, and TURKEY MISSING!

by pif414 , Nov 21 '06
Pros: None
Cons: Poor customer service Poor delivery coordination Food arrived in poor condition Expensive
So I heard that their food's good and went ahead and spent a fortune for my thanksgiving dinner. 1 ham, 1 WHOLE turkey, and 5 sides. Yesterday I got 3 small boxes. 1 with ham, 1 with 2 sides, and 1 with 3 sides. No turkey anywhere. I went to UPS and ...

Honeybaked Hams in Torrance, California
by justbeachin ,Jul 02 '08
Pros: None
Cons: I made other arrangements and cancelled my order.
After listening to a radio ad for a discount on honeybaked hams I picked up the phone and dialed our local retailer here in Torrance, CA. Apparently the staff there did not receive the memo regarding customer service. Remember the old attitudes about post office employees? Both employees I spoke with were arrogant & rude and startlingly unhelpful. I've never written a "rant" before but I was so blown away by my experience that I felt it necessary to forewarn potential clients.

They used to make good ham ... what happened?
by kzavarin ,Jul 11 '06
Pros: It comes pre-sliced, but that's little consolation if the ham is inedible.
Cons: Dry, tough, cloyingly sweet.
We recently ordered a Honeybaked Ham for a family event, and it was so awful we had to return it (good thing we tasted it before feeding the guests). We have been buying these hams for years, and noticed the quality has declined recently; perhaps this is happening only in the S.F. Bay Area.

Bad Lunch
by gingham4me ,Aug 04 '05
Pros: I have had the whole Heavenly Hams before and they were delightful!
Cons: Maybe this was just a bad day for Honeybaked Ham Co.
My family and I had lunch today at the Honeybaked Ham Company in Greenville, S.C. and I was very displeased with the taste. We had the club sandwiches. The bread was extremely cold and hard and the ham was not very flavorful. I prefer another local ham store, Heavenly Ham, where everything tastes more fresh!

Not in time for Christmas and didn't cancel the order
by rmjoyce ,Dec 28 '06
Pros: Good quality, pre-sliced and very tasty ham and smoked turkey.
Cons: They did NOT deliver in time for Christmas and did NOT cancel the order
I ordered a ham and smoked turkey for my sister on 12/5/2006 online and selected a delivery date of 12/22. When I arrived at my sister's on the 23rd, I found that the ham & turkey had not been delivered. On my email confirmation, they did not indicate my requested delivery date but when I checked the status of my order on the website, it indicated that the meat wouldn't be delivered until the 28th. I called the company twice. Once to confirm that they couldn't deliver any earlier and, after conferring with my sister 10 minutes later, I called back to cancel the order. I then went to the local store and bought a $50 ham Sunday morning. On the 27th, I received an email saying the ham and turkey was being shipped via UPS and had not been cancelled. I called the company back and they insisted I had not cancelled the order and could not stop the shipment.

Pros: heavenly no dissapointments, best quality...and my dogs get the bone,,,,,,,,,,split 3 ways
Cons: a little expensive but worth the extravagance.
Honeybaked hams are by far the best avaliable, you always know what you are getting, i ordered 3 for xmas as gifts. was dissapointed with the swiss colony ham and it was more expensive, treat yourself, no dissapointments here.
