This Nitto 450 Extreme is without a doubt the gripiest sticky tire I have owned. I use the 275-50-17 on a 96 Impala SS and it is awsome in its performance. This tire grips in any condition, excellent in dry, rain and snow.

Nitto's NT-450 Extreme Performance Truck/SUV tires are the best tires I have ever purchased. I really didn't know what to expect from them, but as of right now, I am very pleased with their performance in all weather conditions, including snow! I have had a set of 225/50-17"s on my 1997 Ford Taurus for over a year now and have never heard road noise from these babies. The car even handles corners better at higher speeds. I can really tell the tires are performing when it's raining as I have yet to hydroplane, even at speeds ranging from 50-65 MPH. Definately the #1 choice for your performance needs. So don't be fooled by the name including "Truck/SUV," I have these on my car and they are absolutely incredible.

Pros: Great value. Great wet weather traction. Great 60 ft times at dragstrips.
Cons: Softer sidewall. Just inflate them more at AutoX's.

I have had two sets of these tires for about 50000 miles and overall think they are great. Kumho 711's would have been my second choice but I like the wider stanz these have. My only complaint is that the sidewalls are a little soft but they do great for the money. Owning a Dodge Dakota R/T really eats up the rears and I have tried the BFG Scorchers and they where a little better wet traction wise but sucked at the dragstrip with 3 sec 60 fts???? I did 2 sec flat with the Nittos and thats the best Ive seen with street tires with our trucks. Id suggest these too anyone who likes performance on a budget.

Pros: Great handling, reduced body roll, will probably get 40 - 45K out of them
Cons: A little noisy, but that's to be expected for a performance tire

I can't afford $200 tires, so I checked out the Nittos as a replacement to the Potenzas that originally came on my 2001 Maxima. While admittedly noisier on the road, they give great wet and dry traction, and made a noticible reduction in body roll - maybe due to stiffer sidewalls?

Pros: quietness,road handling,look.
Cons: none so far.

I was looking for tires for my 96 328I BMW.Was considering different brands :Pirelli,Falken,Toyo,Nitto. My search was based on:my max.speed which I can drive sometimes,road handling,driving in wet conditions,quietness while driving on the HWYs,look of the tire.
I choose this NITTO-450 and very happy with my choice.
1st.I"ve noticed how soft my car began to drive.though it is bimmer and dont have this luxury suspension but it is so nice to drive it now and don"t feel all this bumps on the road.On the hwy it is pleasure for me to drive on the high speed 90 up to a 130(watch out for police!!)and this tires are excellent how quite they are and great road handling.
2nd. Sharp turns-great!
3rd. In raining day it is also good to drive(no skid pads
