Pros: these tires and this company are horrible, best I can do Cons: vibration, horrible tread wear, poor weather traction, awful dealer network
Let me start out by saying that I give anyone more than a fair chance at doing good business, and I usually suffer from being far too decent to people who have wronged me, it's a fault and I know it. That said, I am beyond upset with the lack of quality ...
Pros: Versatile performance on a broad range of touring and sports sedans, at a reasonable price Cons: Not a "high" performance tire, but a performance tire
One Size Fits All? The Continental Touring tire is an acceptable all-season performance tire that is designed to do everything acceptably. Not do it great or poorly, but it does it acceptably. They provide versatile performance on a ...
Pros: - Handles Surprisingly Well
- Resists Hydroplaning Better Than Most
- Looks Good
Cons: - Somewhat Disappointed In Treadwear
This is a good tire! I wish I would have bought another set of these tires instead of buying some cheaper "Fuzion HRIs". These tires handle very well for a All-Season tire and they also handle well in the rain. As a matter of fact, Consumer Reports ...
I bought a 98 Passat with 23,000 miles on it. I had some shimmy , although most of it was fixed when they replaced the tie rods thru a dealer recall. I bought it from a VW dealer, but they didn't bother to tell me there was a recall or fix it before I...
Pros: Reasonable price; Good road grip; Excellent on snow and wet roads; Cons: None so far; I've had mine only for a few months (about 10K miles) now.
I own a 1997 Nissan Maxima SE. It came with 215/55R16 Toyo Proxes tires. They were good initially. Toward the end the road handling had really deteriorated. I replaced them when my car had done 63K miles.
* Reason For Purchase
First of all I would like to thank you for reading my opinions. Ok well to start off we really didn't buy these tires on purpose....
Review of Continental Touring CH95 (July 18, 2000)
About two years ago, my wife and I were returning home from a vacation at the Jersey Shore, when we had a blow out. This seemed strange to me because my tires were in good shape before we...
Purchased 2006 Matrix with CH95 tires by smcl3 ,Aug 02 '07
Pros: None Cons: Less than 25,000 miles had to replace all four tires.
Noisy and
Don't take home a new car with these tires. No tread at 25,000 miles. Having to replace all four tires on a fairly new car is not reasonable. Well maintained on schedule by dealer. Ride was always noisy. Began pulling and vibrating after 20,000 mile checkup. Toyota seems to be aware of the problem. They are paying for two Michelons and I am paying for the other two. This seems fair.
Original tires on Toyota Matrix 2004 by gptec ,May 18 '05
Pros: Decent handling Cons: Tires wore out in 1 year 13000 mi
While I had no complaint about the handling and traction of the Conti Touring Contact CH-95 tires , At one year into the life of my Matrix the tires had virtually no tread left.
