A few months ago, hubby and I finally gave in to my teenage son's wishes for a new set of mattresses. The mattress and boxspring were delivered exactly 3 months and one day ago today and I am pleased to say that we love the Serta Perfect Sleeper Fallbrooke Pillowtop mattress and it is well worth the money we spent for it!
Choosing the right mattress for my son was nearly an impossible task. Here I thought that girls' decision making skills were trying! Humpff! My sixteen year old son surely proved me wrong. He must have laid on twenty mattresses of various sizes and degrees of firmness before we finally helped him to make a decision.

Over the years of mattress buying, my husband always preferred very firm, nearly impossible to sleep on rock hard mattresses. I am just the opposite. My preference is for a softer, more comfortable mattress with just enough firmness that I wouldn't feel like I'm sink down into a stack of cotton clouds. On the other hand, my son, who is into weight lifting and body building, gave our local furniture store sales people a real run for their money. These mattresses have several layers of foam that are not only very comfortable, but also really support the body. The Serta Fallbrooke Pillowtop mattress also has fiber pads that cushion and insulate the mattress, making for a very good night's sleep. The information provided by our salesman, and his obvious knowledge of his Serta merchandise was enough reason to convince my son to test out a few mattresses in the showroom.

The Serta Perfect Sleeper Fallbrooke Pillowtop mattress is a great looking mattress, not necessarily a factor in my son's decision to go with this particular style, however.
The mattress cover, made of off white cotton and polyester damask, is designed with beautiful stitching, forming the signature little pillows that offer added comfort to the back, hips and shoulders.
At thirteen inches in thickness, the mattress, plus the boxspring and frame, is the perfect height for my son. He is really happy that he doesn't have to climb up too high to easily roll onto his new bed. The set up is also the perfect height from the floor for him to sit on the edge of the mattress to play his video games or to watch MTV and movies.
What impresses me about the Serta Perfect Sleeper Fallbrooke Pillowtop mattress is that the edge of the mattress remains firm despite my son's sitting on it for extended periods of time. This is testimony to the strength and durability of Serta mattresses that are designed to give years and years of comforting use.

In the past, my husband did have reason to exchange a set of his daughter's Serta mattresses that she was displeased with. He had zero problems and still proclaims Serta's customer service department as being one of the best that he has ever dealt with.
The foundation is made of steel and wood, with an intricate coil system that can withstand a lot of use and abuse. My granddaughters, aged three and four, love to romp on my son's bed, jumping and playing. There have been no signs of this mattress sinking in the middle or becoming lumpy or frumpy, so far.
Sleeping On It
What we have discovered in the Serta Perfect Sleeper is the most comfortable mattress of all the mattress sets in our home. I kid you not! My son, at this point in time, is getting the best night's sleep in his bed because of the foam in his Serta mattress that provides great support for his broad shoulders and his muscular back. He nevers complains about his mattress; a good thing. He complains about nearly everything else in his teenager's life.
I have slept in my son's room on many occasions when a deeper sleep is required. I know that I will awaken with a smile on my face and no aches or pains in my lower back or on my shoulders. My husband has also slept in my son's bed a few times when his back and neck were painful from past injury. Hubby says that his back feels much less painful after sleeping on Matt's bed. My spouse also attests to the comfort of this tough thick mattress.

Final Thoughts and Recommendations
My family is very, very happy with the Serta Perfect Sleeper Fallbrooke Pillowtop mattress that we purchased. In the three months of ownership, we have all slept on it at one time or another with no complaints whatsoever.
At this time, I believe that it is fair to say that we do not anticipate any problems. However, we can rest assured knowing that the Serta warranty will be honored in the event of any unforeseen problems with this mattress set.
To help protect my son's mattress cover and to help guard against allergens and dust mites that cause sneezing, coughing, watering eyes and stuffy noses, we purchased a Cottonfresh Zippered Mattress Encasing for his new mattress.
I believe in word of mouth recommendations from people who have actually slept on Serta mattresses. My husband's sister, a chiropractor, highly recommends Serta Perfect Sleeper mattresses to her patients. We are very happy with the Fallbrooke Pillowtop mattress and I highly recommend buying this mattress for the comfortable, back-saving qualities that it possesses.
