Pros: Portable, better than comparable indoor grilling products, easy to use Cons: I would rather have a regular grill, but that isn't an option
Guess what? There are NO gas/charcoal grills allowed on the patios at my apartment complex! For a lover of all things grilled, this was quite a traumatic realization. My husband was equally upset, and came home a short time later with the George ...
Pros: Large grill surface, non-stick (easy clean), electric/indoor operation, grease trap, light weight. Cons: Gravity held components, lid holder.
Hear ye dwellers of apartment, condo, and some town homes! We who live without access to 'yard', 'patio', or 'back porch', must we also live without freedom to grill? Must friends and family who come to feast wait while each cut of our ...
Pros: large, removable cooking surface. Sturdy. Cons: a bit difficult to clean
I bought this grill because I needed one with a larger surface area from my old model, and because grills with open flame are forbidden in my apartment complex. Overall, this model meets both qualifications well. It's great for cookouts and parties ...
Pros: Indoor/outdoor capability, large cooking surface, easy to clean, can use as oven Cons: you have to be careful with any non-stick surface, but this one is very durable
I have had several foreman grills and this is by far my favorite. Some pros are: # Easily converts from outdoor to indoor use # 17.5" diameter - over 240 square inches of cooking surface # Center channel drains fat into large grease tray # Non-stick ...
Pros: Small size takes up little deck space. Fastest clean-up I've ever experienced in a grill. Cons: None that we noticed.
This is possibly one of the most unique grills weve ever purchased. Now, neither my husband nor I are grill fanatics... We just love to eat, and to be able to sit on the deck and crack open a cold one while were cooking sounds like a pretty ...
Pros: Affordable, fast heating, excellent alternative to those that cannot have a real grill. Cons: Challenging to clean, fats don't run into drip pan due to a lack of tilt.
This outdoor version of the George Foreman has been a godsend for my family ever since we moved into a condo that does not allow coal or propane on the wood decks (a wise decision). We had become accustomed to doing quite a bit of grilling year round so ...
Pros: Easy to clean and use! Can cook inside in winter! Cons: Takes up a little bit of space, but not a lot!
When we first moved into our apartment, we didn't quite realize just how much we'd miss a grill. The oven in our apartment is from the 1950's and is literally older than we are. It has no broil capabilities and does not cook evenly. That wouldn't have ...
Pros: light, inexpensive, easy cleaning, large cooking surface Cons: because it's light, it's not really sturdy, but that's about it
I LOve ThiS gRiLL simply put!!...if you are one of the unfortunates who are not allowed to have charcoal grill where you live (like me) this is the product to get. CHeap, simple assembly, very very easy to clean, light and portable, ...
Pros: Large cooking surface, moist, cooked meat. Cooks fast. Cons: Not recommended for hamburgers, steak etc. use reg BBQ when possible.
My friend has this grill, and made boneless, skinless chicken breasts for me for dinner. I was very impressed, they were moist and tasty and cooked fast. Boneless, skinless chicken breasts tend to dry out when making them on a regular BBQ grill or in ...
Pros: Simple simplicity Cons: can be easily dropped!!
George Foreman has delivered yet another ko blow with his easy-to-use grills. The George Foreman grill gives you that satisfying sizzling sensation right in your own home. And what better sensation is there than a good sizzling at home!! Because simply ...
Pros: Light cooking okay. We use it primarily for cooking vegetables on cabobs now. Cons: Teflon surface will scratch and once that happens watch out. ONLY USE PLASTIC UTENSILS!!
Don't even think about doing meat in barbeque sauce with this one! Still are not able to get all the cooked sauce off as it bonded with the surface. Also, never use any utensil other than a plastic one because once the teflon coating starts to peel your food will stick like crazy. Have wanted to replace the surface since the barbeque sauce mishap but so far impossible to find. Good grill for light cooking so no complaints there.
George Forman electric Grill by smockle ,Dec 26 '03
Pros: Simple, fast and doesn't take up much space. East to clean. Cons: We haven't found anything negative. Its perfect for our lifestyle
We moved from a home to a condo and didn't want a huge gas grill out on the deck, and wanted a compact grill that was simple to plug in and yet grilled everything that we were use to barbequing on a gas grill.
We absolutely love the George Forman grill and haven't missed the gas grill yet!
Pros: heats up quick. Cons: required an extension cord.
This grill is good for either indoors or outdoors, its great for a rainy day or for the winter. The food tastes good and you know its not as greasy as other grilling methods. Mine was given to me by my dad but I would still buy it for full price its worth it. This grill is better than the regular george forman grill because you get a larger grilling surface. The only thing that I didn't like was that the cord wasn't really long.
worthwhile if you're not die hard by haydenmars ,Apr 25 '07
Pros: if you can't get gas or coal this is the way to go. Cons: doesn't take a beating like higher grade electric grills.
if you live in an apartment complex this is optimal but there are many other electric grills out there so shop around. this is lightweight, nonstick (don't go crazy, the nonstick wont last long if you try to do any real live grilling) worthwhile if you don't grill alot. if you ebay this item please try not to pay more than $80 for the thing in total. if you go beyond that marker try to look for the more professional electric grills with surfaces that can take a beating. (try www.bbqguys.com for some rather elaborate models that are still quite affordable).
this grill is best for minimal grilling. for the more serious griller this is a good test drive if you're stuck in a complex where you can't have flame grills. but if you're more serious try shopping around there's thousands of electric models out there to choose from. but on a budget and a quicky fix this is the model to choose. it's large enough, it's a good height and if you treat the surface well it can last a couple of years (the surface that is) with heavy use.
