Pros: Handles text like a printer should--good for small offices, libraries, or home. Cons: Black and white only; poor graphics printing speed and quality

Pros: good basic workhorse for production of text documents Cons: painfully slow dealing with graphics

Poor networking

Pros: Looks good Cons: Network card are poor at best
Nothing but trouble on networks with multiple printers. Can always print with Mac but Windows has real issues. Frequently doesn't even show up.
