The 2004 Aston Martin DB9 is a 2-door, 4-passenger luxury sports car, or convertible sports car, available in two trims, the Coupe and the Volante. The 2004 Aston Martin DB9's competitors include the Lamborghini Murcielago and the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S. Upon introduction, both trims are equipped with a standard 6.0-liter, V12, 450-horsepower engine. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional. The 2004 Aston Martin DB9 is all-new for 2004.
