Pros: Large memory
No waiting for fax to go through before sending next one. Cons: Link between toner in cartridge and outgoing fax quality -worst feature I've ever seen anywhere.
I bought this fax machine because I needed a laser fax for my home office and it had most of the other features I wanted. I was going through too much ink on my inkjet fax and wanted to be more economical. I also trusted the name. Most of the features ...

Pros: Hardware looked good. Easy to install on XP Cons: Drivers don't support windows 2000 server, windows 2003 server.
I've always had good luck with Canon hardware, and this one seemed fine as well. I installed everything on windows XP and it ran well. Printing was good. Copy was good. Never tried the Fax. The problem I ran into was even though the box and ...

Do Not Buy the Canon L75!!
by rockrockrock ,Sep 26 '03
Pros: None Cons: Sending problems. Paper jams. Grabs two pages vs. one page.
We purchased two Canon L75 fax machines. One for the office and one for home. After two days, we began experiencing problems. When sending multi-page faxes only the first page would be received by the recipient. This happened on several occasions. The other problem was that the machine began to grab two pages at once (versus one at a time) when trying to fax.
The warranty does not allow for on-site repairs so this does not bode well for a business.
We contacted Canon directly and a replacement fax was sent to us. The replacement fax had the same problems. Needless to say, we now realize how important a good machine is.

Grabs too much!
by waiidex ,Jul 03 '06
Pros: At least it works some of the time and will actually send/receive faxes. Cons: The sending of faxes quickly turns into a headache.
Having no personal say in which fax machine was purchased, there was a Canon L80 set up in our office of not quite 100 people. From day one everyone complained about it grabbing more than one page when trying to send a fax of multiple pages. We constantly have to send and re-send faxes or hand feed one sheet in at a time. This gets old quickly especially when sending 5 and 10 page faxes. That, however, is our only complaint. We don't use it as a printer or a copier so the three-in-one probably wasn't the best choice but as a fax my office does not recommend it very highly.

Waste of money
by irnhorsey ,Apr 05 '07
Pros: Makes an adequate paperweight Cons: Inadequate performance, no product support from Canon
Lousy as a multipage copier because it sucks through several pages at a time. Lousy as a multipage fax for the same reason. Lousy as a printer because of lack of drivers and total lack of product support from Canon USA. It works good as a basic telephone if you have 4 square feet of desk space you want to waste. I finally took mine to the dump and threw it away after Canon customer support suggested that I would be happier with a HP.

Vista drivers are here:
by mazzy1 ,Jun 25 '08
Pros: Finally Vista Drivers Cons: Canon site Links don't work so the link above is direct
Decent inexpensive printer. Toner cartridges are easy to find. printer sometimes feeds more than one page at a time. Most upright paper tray printers have this problem so it was not unexpected but it can be a problem if you want to batch print on both sides of a page. For 2 side printing, look for a printer with a flat paper tray.
Vista drivers from Canon's site are really hard to find. but I finally found them. The Canon internal links don't work but this one does.
