Pros: Nice covers, but not as good as a few years ago. Cons: Seems very "advertorial" now instead of editorial.
This magazine, now called Studio Photography, The Business Behind the Image, is not nearly as good as it was when George Schaub (now with Shutterbug magazine) was the editor. These days it has much more of a sales orientation and is much less about the creative side of the business. Ideally, a magazine about professional photography should be produced by photographers, not by marketing people.
Also, it appears that most or all of the content is now available on their Web site, so there is no reason to buy a subscription.
