An okay game overall. Graphics are good, cars are fast, police are many. More detailed than the previous, but isnt this whole racing without a cause thing wearing out. There is absolutely no storyline or specific characters for that matter. Just another racing game with quite a few licensed vehicles.

Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 builds on the award-winning success of Hot Pursuit 1. The cars (including the McLaren F1, Lamborghini Murcielago, Porsche Carerra GT, and Lotus Elise) are awesome and realistically rendered. I thought that it would be fun, and the Be The Cop and Pursuit Modes are fun. Some minor annoyances include the music- it could be a little better, though there are ways, however difficult, to use your own music in the game (it involves downloading a program). The Multiplayer Mode has lost the split-screen arcade feature that made some of the old NFS games popular, forcing you to play online. Also, the replay mode only plays in one angle, the angle that you raced in. Still, the beautiful graphics and great gameplay of NFS: HP2 are just too awesome, and I highly recommend this game.
