Pros: Nice game play; always exciting and never lagging Cons: Another in the long line of wrestling's finger-mashing games; button combinations are tough to learn
When I purchased my XBox, UFC:Tapout was one of the first games I bought. I've always been a semi-fan of the sport (whenever it comes on TV, which is rare, I'll sit and watch), and the game represented another dimension that I could explore.
Pros: Graphics are crisp, More options than the original Cons: Sound is a little off, and Roster not completely updated
Can Crave bring the UFC to the xbox with unsurpassed realism? That's what Crave and Dream Factory tried to do from the start and after month's of delays the game has arrived, was it worth the wait? An astounding yes. Owner's of the Dreamcast title will...
Pros: Great idea, fighters true to life, great personalities, create your own fighter mode Cons: Difficult to manuever fighters, not very bloody, needs a training mode
This game would be best for the die-hard UFC fan, because those who just enjoy playing fighting games are bound to be disappointed in this one. It's very cool to be able to play with some of the UFC greats like Tito Ortiz, Mark Kerr, Josh Barnett, and ...
Graphics: This is definitely one of the more detail fighting games available. Shadows and peoples features just seem to get better and better. The crowd is great as well. They didn't miss a thing in the crowd either. This is definitely a top notch...
Pros: It's a UFC game, I guess. Cons: Plays like various wrestling games. (In other words,
characters react too slow to your commands.)
I guess I've been spoiled by UFC for the Sega
Dreamcast. The fights in the Dreamast version
were FAST and furious(though a little unforgiving
at times). UFC on the XBOX & PS2 however, in my
opinion is TOO SLOW!!! They remind me of wrestling
games on the various systems where you issue a
command, then a month-and-a-half later your character
executes the freak'n move! That's one of the main
reasons I've never gotten into wrestling games, or
any of the current UFC games. I find the
overall graphics in the Dreamcast version A LOT
better---the characters look "solid" and
are well animated.
If you are looking for a excellent UFC game, try
the Dreamcast version.
