2007 Aston Martin Vantage

Pros: Looks stylish
Cons: Notoriously unreliable. Not worth the money. Poor handling.

My name is Travis. I received my '07 Aston Martin Vantage as an Anniversary gift from my Boyfriend. I loved the way it looked. But underneath all the fancy sheet metal is a car with a cramped interior. I'm 5'8". The car handles like a tank. On any road that is not perfectly smooth you can feel every single bump and every single road imperfection there is. The seats have no ventilation so you get all sweaty and gross while driving it.

Once I was driving down the highway and at 2,107 miles the transmission exploded. I heard a loud "THUD!" and the car would not accelerate anymore and all the warning lights illuminated on the dashboard. I've been babying this car too. I don't have a lead foot.

The car then had to be towed 15 miles to the nearest dealer. It spent over a week in the garage. The repair bill was upwards of $30,000!!! You can buy a brand new car with that kind of money. Thank god the warrantee covered it.

For a car that my boyfriend must of paid over $100,000 for, why would the transmission blow up with it's still basically brand new?
